Multiple Flow Coefficients and Wide Control Range Suit Variety of Applications
Sugar Land, Texas – 28 July 2022 – Welker, Inc. today expands its I-Series of Instrument Regulators to include the IBR Back-Pressure Regulator. These standalone, spring-loaded, piston-sensing back-pressure regulators are designed to control the inlet pressure in gas and low-viscosity liquid systems to help balance system pressure and product flow in moderate pressure applications.
Back-pressure regulators maintain upstream pressure control in a variety of applications, including analytical, process, and sampling systems and compressor stations. Because the pressure requirements and capacity of instruments can vary widely, Welker designed the IBR Back-Pressure Regulator with four flow coefficient options and a wide control range. A piston-sensing regulator, the IBR has high sensitivity and quick response, giving technicians good control when setting the inlet pressure.
With an all 316/316L stainless-steel body, the IBR is corrosion resistant. The IBR has an easy inlet pressure adjustment and locknut to prevent the spring setting from changing due to vibration to help maintain a constant inlet pressure and flow.
