Bearing systems like those in gas turbine meters require periodic lubrication to prevent performance-reducing mechanical friction. The Oiler automatically delivers a small fixed volume of lubricant to prevent bearing burnout. The result? Optimal meter lifespan, performance, and accuracy.

Onboard Timing System

No external power supply? No problem! The long-lasting lithium battery pack of the Welker 6Tc Timer/Controller can power the Oiler. Set the 6Tc for proportional to flow or time-based chemical injection. This UL listed intrinsically safe controller is designed for hazardous areas.

Get Your (Re)Fill

Easy Access Reservoir

Thanks to the operator-friendly design, you can refill the 250-cc oil reservoir without even opening the enclosure. Simply remove the cap located on top of the enclosure and pour your injection chemical straight into the reservoir.

The Oiler can withstand a wide range of aggressive environments. The rain-tight, watertight, corrosion-resistant enclosure with integrated padlock hasp makes it ideal for remote locations. The clear cover allows for easy on-site monitoring of regulator pressure and chemical volume.

Where space is at a premium, this compact system will fit right in. The Oiler is mounted to a curved 8” x 13” panel, ready to be secured to a 2” pole or pipe stand using the included U-bolts. Because the Oiler is lightweight, system installation is easy and easy on you!

Backflow Protection

The outlet check valve protects operations during fluctuations in pipeline pressure. If pipeline pressure drops, rest assured neither injection chemical nor gas will flow from your bearing system back to the pump.

Optional Double Pump Unit

Multiple meters in your meter run? The Oiler can be designed with dual injection pumps to feed two separate meters, resulting in space and cost savings for you.

Stop Running Your Meter Ragged

Additional Meter Protection

The Oiler is a good first level of protection for your meter and your process. For added protection, install a Welker FLN Flow Limiting Nozzle downstream of your meter to prevent over-speeding and damage to the measuring mechanism.
