Natural Gas: As a Sensing Device (Relief Valve) in an Instrumentation Line
Natural Gas Compressor Stations: Downstream of a Compressor Pump to Maintain Compression
Light Liquids or Refined Products: In a Flow Loop of a Sampling System
Light Liquids or Refined Products: At the End of a Return Loop Upstream of a Tank
The IBR model in Welker’s I-Series Instrument Regulators is a standalone, spring-loaded, piston-sensing back-pressure regulator suitable for controlling gases and low-viscosity liquid products. By controlling its inlet pressure, the IBR helps to balance system pressure and product flow.
Multiple flow coefficients and a wide control range let you adapt the IBR to your instrument and application. The IBR Back-Pressure Regulators are piston-sensing, allowing for a quicker response to pressure adjustments.
A hex head adjustment screw allows you to quickly and easily set the outlet pressure. With a locknut to prevent the spring setting from changing due to vibration, you can set the IBR once and be sure the inlet pressure and flow will remain constant.
The metallurgical properties of 316/316L stainless steel minimize corrosion, absorption, adsorption, and chemical reactivity.
