Welker Expands Earth Operations with Launch of Welker UK Ltd. and Appointment of David Eyre as Vice President of International Sales – Crude Oil Sampling
Welker, a global leader in precision-engineered sampling solutions, is pleased to announce the expansion of its earth operations with the launch of Welker UK Ltd. This strategic move strengthens Welker’s presence across key global energy markets and reinforces its commitment to delivering world-class crude oil and hydrocarbon sampling solutions worldwide.
As part of this expansion, Welker announces the appointment of David Eyre as Vice President of International Sales – Crude Oil Sampling. In this role, David will lead Welker’s global growth strategy for crude oil sampling, supporting customers across a broad region spanning the United Kingdom, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and into the Far East. His primary focus will be to help position Welker as the leading manufacturer in crude oil sampling.
David Eyre is a globally recognized expert in Power Assisted Sampling (Power Mixing) with more than two decades of engineering and industry experience. He began his career in engineering manufacturing before specializing in pumps and compressor systems for hydrocarbon applications. Over the past 15+ years, David has become one of the world’s leading authorities in hydrocarbon sampling and power-assisted sampling systems.
David has worked extensively with Cranfield University on the design and optimization of nozzle and quill components, pump specifications, and advanced power-mixing methodologies. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of sampling solutions, combining rigorous engineering theory with hands-on field experience.
Highly respected for his deep knowledge of ISO and API sampling standards, David has delivered compliant, reliable sampling systems across upstream, midstream, and downstream applications worldwide. His career includes significant global leadership experience, including the successful establishment of a sales and manufacturing operation in Dubai, expanding regional capabilities across the Middle East and Far East.
